There’s a lot to talk about the Ruvati RVH8050. It’s not the cheapest kitchen sink on the market, but it can certainly give some of the other kitchen sinks that are priced about twice as high a run for their money.
The value for money it offers makes it quite a tempting buy, and so it doesn’t come off as surprising that the customers that bought this little beauty are all praise for it.
What makes it so special, though? Let’s find out.
There’s probably nothing that you can think of getting into your kitchen that wouldn’t be able to sit in the Ruvati RVH8050. From the largest pans to pots to baking sheets, it wouldn’t hesitate to welcome them all.
For a kitchen sink that’s this large, AND falls in this relatively low price range, you would probably have to compromise quite a bit on the quality front. But that’s precisely where the Ruvati RVH8050 stands out.
It’s made of 16 gauge premium-quality stainless steel, which means that the durability it the last thing you would want to worry about this little beast.
Design and Looks
The overall shape and design of the Ruvati RVH8050 is just as impressive, too. It’s very deep and high, and you would have a lot of space to work comfortably.
The overlay flush mount design would definitely attract your guests that end up taking a tour of your kitchen. There’s also the zero radius corner, easy-to-clean skillets, stainless steel racks that cover the bottom of each bowl to prevent the sink from losing its “appeal” over time and more features that you wouldn’t expect in this price range.
However, despite all its design excellence it somehow still isn’t one of those fancier designs out there that are not as practical and sometimes even difficult to work with.
It’s humble yet modern, and boasts a 21st century modern but perfectly clean design. The attention to detail is also impressive, and overall you would be hard-pressed to find a kitchen sink that offers so much in terms of design and looks in this price range.
Quiet and Very Practical
As mentioned above, the Ruvati RVH8050 comes with an extremely practical and clean design despite being incredibly attractive at the same time. Not just the design, but the fact that you also get baskets for each drain, impressively designed sink grids and wire racks and a flat bottom that you wouldn’t be able to appreciate enough.
The flat bottom helps prevent the things you put into it from rolling down toward the drain, which can be a great help if you often use things made of glass. It may sometimes be a problem with the food particles, but that’s far more manageable than broken glass pieces.
Unlike other sinks, the Ruvati RVH8050 also wouldn’t expose you to the typical annoying noise sinks create when you put metal utensils into them, especially the heavier ones. The RVH8050 however, is surprisingly quiet when you’re stacking plates into it, and it also wouldn’t vibrate like some of the cheaper options in this price range.
The installation tends to be an important factor to consider as well. After all, if it’s going to be a lot of hassle or need professional help, then you might want to factor that into your purchase as well.
However, the Ruvati RVH8050 is fairly easy to install, though having another person to help you with the installation is going to make the process smoother and completely hassle-free. It comes with bomb-proof packing, so it’s likely going to take you a bit of time to unpack and install, but you wouldn’t want it any other way in order to avoid any chances of ending up with a damaged unit.
